Court Builder — Pickleball, Tennis & Multi-Sport Courts

In the Bay Area, expectations are higher — and so are the standards for construction.

Court Builders Northern California and Northwest Nevada has spent over four decades designing and building sport courts across some of the most demanding environments in the country. From tight urban lots in San Francisco to expansive estates in Atherton and Los Altos Hills, we deliver courts that are structurally sound, visually refined, and built for long-term performance. We are not installers. We are a Class A Licensed General Engineering Contractor and Northern California's and Northwest Nevada only ASBA Certified Court Builder — which means every project is engineered from the ground up, not pieced together after the fact.

WHAT WE BUILD ACROSS THE BAY AREA

    • Pickleball Courts — single and multi-court layouts, USA Pickleball™ certified
    • Tennis Courts — competition and residential, built by our Certified Tennis Court Builder
    • Multi-Sport Game Courts — basketball, tennis, pickleball, volleyball on one surface
    • Basketball & Training Courts
    • Indoor Gymnasium & Athletic Flooring
    • Custom Recreational Spaces

Bay Area properties present real engineering challenges: expansive clay soils, hillside grading, drainage demands during the rainy season, and in many neighborhoods, strict HOA noise and aesthetic requirements. Our in-house team designs every project around your specific site rather than applying a one-size-fits-all template. We've built courts for private estates in Atherton, Hillsborough, Los Altos Hills, Palo Alto, Saratoga, Danville, Walnut Creek, Pleasanton, Orinda, and Marin — as well as for school districts, country clubs, and municipalities including the City of Oakland and the Golden State Warriors.

OUR SURFACING SYSTEMS — THREE OPTIONS, ONE STANDARD OF EXCELLENCE

SURFACE OPTION BEST FOR KEY BENEFITS
Modular Sport Tile  HOA neighborhoods, cracked courts, all-weather play Sound reduction, Lateral Forgiveness™, 15+ yr life, self-draining
Cushioned Acrylic (Pro Cushion™ / Cushion X™) Club-level feel, joint protection, tournament play Up to 15% impact reduction, true bounce, glued directly to slab
Standard Acrylic (Acrytech / Laykold) Structurally sound courts needing color refresh 100% acrylic, premium traction, custom color matching

Modular tile systems bridge existing cracks and eliminate them permanently. Cushioned acrylic delivers club-level feel and up to 15% body impact reduction. Standard acrylic — applied with premium Acrytech or Laykold coatings — restores traction and enables fully custom color matching to complement your property or brand. If your court has significant cracking, we'll always recommend the right structural solution first, not a cosmetic fix that fails within a season.

What Our Customers Say About Us:

"When an agent secures a listing on a home with a Game Court, I know they will have a much easier time finding a buyer for that house than a similar home with a swimming pool."
